Our Training

At Consumer Connect, we expect our employee’s to meet our extremely high standards of performance and professionalism. In order for them to do this, we ensure that they are made welcome, they are provided with support and an excellent training package.

Our training package will cover a whole range of modules, which will up skill our new employee’s in the areas of sales techniques, customer service, objection handling, rapport building, elevator pitch, in depth knowledge of products and providers, customer needs assessment, compliance, the law and the use of our dialer and I.T. systems.

After this period of skills and knowledge training, each employee will enter into a period of experiential learning, what we like to call ‘learning by doing’. This is when the new employee will be allocated an experienced member of staff to be their ‘call buddy’. They will shadow their call buddy and their call buddy will mentor them until the new employee becomes more confident and self sufficient.

We encourage our employees to take ownership of their own learning and identify their own strengths and weaknesses, in order that they receive the best possible support, advice and guidance. Every employee has a voice and they are encouraged to use it. We respect the opinions and feedback of all our staff because together we are stronger and more knowledgeable than we are alone. We also quality control the work our employees undertake, whether that is through data performance statistics, observations or call recordings.

It is integral to our success that each and every person fully understands their role and their responsibilities and they are able to respectfully interact with others. Therefore, after the initial induction training, each employee receives daily, sometimes hourly, on the job training, coaching and mentoring, so they can improve their performance and grow.
